Don’t worry... with Buyer Protection and Extended Warranty, you’re automatically covered when you use your WFCU Credit Union Member Card® or write a cheque that is linked to your EvaGold or EvaDiamond account.

BUYER PROTECTION

This coverage applies to the purchase of most retail items – including gifts!

For a full 120 days after purchase, the item is protected if stolen, dropped and broken, or even consumed in a fire.

For example, if you’re wrapping that new camera and it suddenly falls, hits the floor and breaks, you’re protected!

Valid claims will be satisfied either by replacing the stolen or damaged item, or by a cash payment in an amount not to exceed the amount of the total purchase price.

EXTENDED WARRANTY

The warranty period of eligible purchased items is automatically doubled, up to two years!  For example, when you purchase a gaming console or television, the manufacturer would typically offer a one-year warranty. But if you use our WFCU Credit Union Member Card® or write a cheque that is linked to your EvaGold or EvaDiamond account for the purchase, the items would be protected under the terms of the original warranty and for an additional one-year period, for a total of 2 years: an extra 12 months of peace of mind, free of charge!

Extended Warranty is valid for items with a manufacturer’s warranty in Canada for five years or less.

It happens all the time - just when you start to enjoy your latest purchase, you flip open the weekly ads to see it on sale, and for much less than you paid.  Now with Price Protection, you’re entitled to the difference for any purchase made with your WFCU Credit Union Member Card® or write a cheque that is linked to your EvaGold or EvaDiamond account. (Exceptions apply.)

Price Protection lets you shop a little more care free!  You’ll never be afraid to open up a flyer again, fearful of that sale you missed.  Now, you’re entitled to the difference in price!
