Human Resources Assistant

In the role of Human Resources Assistant, this position requires assisting with the entry level recruitment process to “hire the best” and delivering an excellent candidate experience; preparing correspondence as it relates to all matters of employment; preparing reports and navigating a Human Resources Information System. You will be required to adhere and comply with established policies, guidelines and procedures.
 
The successful candidate must demonstrate a high level of accuracy while multi-tasking and managing changing priorities to meet tight deadlines. The individual must be self-motivated with excellent communication skills. The ability to work proactively, efficiently and independently while maintaining high standards of professionalism and confidentiality is critical.
 
Post-secondary education is required and a Bachelor of Commerce with a concentration in Human Resources is preferred. Expert computer proficiency skills operating Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word with a minimum of three years professional work experience is required. A minimum of one year work experience in recruitment is preferred.
