Systems Assistant
The Systems Assistant operates in a supportive team environment and plays a critical role in delivering onsite, phone and email service and support. In this role, you will support 250+ internal customers by addressing all system-related inquires and requests according to defined performance and service levels.
In summary, the Systems Assistant will:
- Report to the Manager, Systems
- Support 250+ internal customers by addressing all system-related inquires and requests according to defined performance and service levels
- Troubleshoot and provide client support
- Work in a fast paced environment while adapting to changing priorities
- Demonstrate a high level of accuracy, professionalism and confidentiality
As the successful candidate, you’ll have responsibility for:
- Maximizing the uptime of our systems, which must deliver services continually in accordance with our established practices
- Analyzing and resolving issues while providing superior customer service
The “must-have” skills and qualifications that we’re looking for are:
- A degree or diploma in Information Technologies from an accredited post-secondary institution or a related field
- One-three years’ experience in a related position
- A self-starter with excellent verbal communication and organization skills
- Expert computer proficiency operating Microsoft operating systems
- Proficiency in general networking concepts, CISCO networking technologies, in-house and off-the-shelf applications and frontline hardware
These additional skills are considered assets too:
- Experience working in the financial services industry
