Administration Assistant

The Administration Assistant is responsible for providing excellent service through the execution of administrative duties according to detailed procedures and with complete accuracy as a function of the Account Services team.

In summary, the Administration Assistant will:

  • Prepare incoming mortgage files for processing.
  • Ensure all documentation required is included in mortgage file.
  • As required, work with third party providers to ensure mortgage is processed accurately and on time.
  • Finalize all closed mortgage files ensuring paperwork is complete and postings are accurate.
  • Process mortgage discharges, mortgage renewals and mortgage extensions.
  • Prior to renewals, ensure property tax is up to date; follow up with lender as necessary and prepare letters to be mailed to members who have mortgages for renewals.

 

The “must-have” skills and qualifications that we’re looking for are:

  • A degree in Business Administration or Finance
  • A minimum of two years’ experience in a related position
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent computer proficiency operating Microsoft Office programs

 

These additional skills are considered assets too:

  • Prior experience within the financial services industry
